Future Plans -- Is your Branch planning technical or professional
activities, setting up a Branch e-mail address, sponsoring any
Section/Branch joint activities? Provide details:

Our branch organised the IEEE International Siberian Conference on
Control and Communications SIBCON-2005 (October 21-22, 2005, technical
co-sponsorship of ComSoc, MTT-S), the Fifth Student Paper Contest
and Conference on the Information Security SIBINFO-2005 (April 19-20,
2005, technical co-sponsorship of ComSoc). This is the main events
among other our branch activities. Other planning activities of our
Student Branch for the next year are:

- providing information at the TUCSR about IEEE and benefits of IEEE
student membership;
- recruiting new branch members;
- participating in paper contest;
- continue updating our SB Web site with new information;
- making contacts with other branches in Russia and abroad.

Student Branch Counselor: Yes, branch Counselor helped us in organizing
conferences, provided information on IEEE awards and events, took part
in our meetings. He regularly consults us in different questions.

Department Chairman: Small consultative assistance.

Section: yes. In 2005 Russia (Siberia) Section for a first time
was sponsored SIBINFO Contest.

Regional Student Activities Committee Chair: Yes

Regional Student Representative: Yes (Congress in Passau)
Regional Director: Yes (Congress in Passau)

Student Services at Headquarters: Yes, they provided us information
on different questions on our demands.

SPAC Committee: No

How can we help you to improve?

We need some information assistance about Foundations for the student
activities development, conference financial sponsorship etc. We are
looking for financial support of our conferences as well as some
travel grants for R8 representatives, participated in our conferences.

Our university (TUCSR) donated some support for our activities
