1) The 11th IEEE-Russian scientific-practical conference of students, graduate students and young scientific "Modern Technique and Technology" (MTT'2007).

Our branch is planning the traditional activities for the next year: take part in organization and participation in the IEEE-Siberian
conference of students, post-graduate students and young researches, International Siberian Conference on Control and Communications SIBCON. This is the main events of our branch activities. Other planning activities of our SB for the next year are:

- recruiting new branch members;
- providing information at the TPU about IEEE and benefits of IEEE student membership;
- participating in the Student Paper Contest SIBINFO;
- making contacts with other Student Branches.

Student Branch Counselor: Yes, branch Counselor assists us for the conferences organizing. We receive information concern IEEE awards and events. He regularly consults us in different questions.

Department Chairman: He is Senior member, he make assistance too.

Section: yes. In 2007 Russia Siberia Section for a first time was sponsored SIBINFO Student Paper Contest.

Regional Student Activities Committee Chair: information assistance only.

How can we help you to improve?

We need more attention concern IEEE events aimed of ex-USSR and CIS countries. In addition, we would be grateful for any sponsorship of participation our members in student paper contest and another Region 8 meetings. Also we are expected for financial support of participation of European students in our events.
