Siberia hosts Control and Comms conference

International IEEE-Siberian Conference on Control and Communications (SIBCON), April 20–21, Tomsk, RussiaThe seventh Siberian Conference on Control and Communications, SIBCON 2007 jointly organised by Tomsk Chapter and YP Group of Russia Siberia Section took place in Tomsk. This IEEE event was sponsored by the Russian Foundation for Basic Researches. The program consisted of the paper presentations, discussions, and social events included banquet and bowling. Street seeing tour depicted the distinctive wooden architecture became the brilliant of the conference. There was songs devoted Tomsk from all street loudspeakers.

It was exciting days. We can recommend other YP Groups to organize such event for promote they activities. We cordially invite all YPies to participate in the next SIBCON 2009 both as paper presenters and as Program Committee members. Please find the future information at the Web.

Siberian conference on Control and Communications SIBCON aims to offer opportunities to learn and to share information on the latest advances in communications and control systems. It is biennial event. The conference is organized by the IEEE on a regular basis in order to promote interdisciplinary discussion and interaction among scientists and engineers with an emphasis on the IEEE membership.
