The Tomsk-IEEE Seminar "The Intellectual Systems of Modeling, Design, and Control"
It is well known that a priority for IEEE is to increase activity in Chapters. After establishment of the Tomsk Chapter for promotion of the IEEE activity and increase of interaction between scientists and engineers of the Tomsk universities and scientific organizations, the Board of the Tomsk Chapter has organized the Tomsk-IEEE seminar "The Intellectual Systems of Modeling, Design, and Control" working several years. For this time more than hundred sessions was held. The basic purpose of continually working seminar is discussion of scientific problems by the Tomsk scientists on a seminar topics. The large practical and scientific interest has reports and questions on information security, the voice signals processing, theory and practice usage of the automatic adaptive systems in technological processes and training basing on neural networks and genetic algorithms.
Regional faculty, students, and researchers in industry contribute presentations on their research. Workshop offers a unique opportunity in Tomsk for developing a wide range of professional relationships. In recent years, we have been able to significantly expand our outreach as observed with the national and international participants at the workshop.
Researches is a fundamental activity of academicians
and can not be ignored at any cost. Research without disseminating their
results in the form of research publications is useless. Seminars and
Working Papers are two main activities, which provide a primary platform
for the staff to present their theoretical and empirical works, which may
further be developed by themselves in the form of a research publication
at a later stage.
