In November 2011 the X anniversary All-Russia student's Olympiad on Electronics in conjunction with Conference of students, post-graduates and young researches "Electronic Devices, Systems and Technologies" was held. The Olympiad are annually take place in National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University at support of Tomsk Joint Chapter and Student Branch of IEEE.

For the first time at the Olympiad the youth marathon with Snap Circuits' kits gratuitously provided by Electron Devices Society IEEE took place. Five commands competed in high-speed design and creation industrial automatics circuits of different complexity.

Two student teams have successfully decided problems – "Pofigistors" and "Lamp & Diodes". You have fun transferring title of the first team from Russian. There was only one girl and four guys in the second team.

The highlight of the Marathon was that Pofigistors team has carried out circuit far outside of mockup plate. In process of "transportation" to table of jury the circuit was repeatedly scattered and materialized again.

Participants have been very impressed with ElencoSnap kits. Great successof the contest has surpassed all previous for 10 years.We have more ideas for use Snap kits at contests and conferences of students and scholars.
